6. Why do I not have access to my tutor's phone number?

At MusicLinks we want our tutors to focus completely on what they do best which is teaching. MusicLinks then takes responsibility for all the administration and scheduling. This works very well!

7. Do you offer trial lessons?

We offer a trial lesson charged at our casual rate if you are not quite ready to commit. Please enquire via info@musiclinks.com.au .

8. Can my child enter AMEB exams?

Yes they can. For some students this is a wonderful focus.

9. What books/music/equipment does my child need to get started?

Each tutor has different requirements. You will be given all the details before lessons commence.

11. Do you accept Creative Kids Vouchers?

Yes we do. The vouchers can count towards 2 dedicated lessons or $100 can be taken off the student's term fee.

12. Who do I contact if I have a complaint?

13. Which areas do we service?

Currently we are based in St Ives, Gordon, Turramurra, Pymble and surrounding areas of Sydney.

15. I am not a youngster and left school many years ago. Can you assist me with lessons?

Yes we are always happy to take on some older students who are keen to learn.

16. We require a new piano at home for my daughter. Can you assist us with this?

Yes we have helped many clients over the years with their instrument purchases. Speak to us about your requirements and we can work with you to make the right choice!

What We Do

We link students with the most suitable instrumental tutors in order to inspire a lifelong love and enjoyment of music.

MusicLinks connects students with their perfect tutor on any instrument. We offer mobile private lessons in student’s homes as well as online and in teaching studios.

MusicLinks also manages a school's entire band program from recruitment, through to weekly rehearsals, private lessons and band workshops/camps.

We love working with the school community to create a thriving band program of which everyone in the school can feel proud.

How We Do It

We know that students thrive when they have great rapport with their tutors.

We also know that most tutors want to focus on what they do best - inspire a love of music in their students.
We take the time to find out what style of music you would like to play and the way you learn best.

We then work hard to link you with the perfect tutor.

We offer the choice of mobile lessons in your own home, lessons in the tutor's studio, or online lessons.
We touch base with you after the first lesson to confirm you are happy with your MusicLinks tutor.

Tutors

Our tutors are experienced in your chosen instrument and dedicated to our students.
They are chosen for their professionalism, love of music and ability to connect with our students.
You will be provided with a bio of your linked tutor before you start lessons.
All tutors have been checked for 'Working with Children' clearance.

Kellye Bettman

Founder, Director and the face behind MusicLinks. A highly accomplished and talented musician, band conductor, music teacher and educator with over 25 years of experience, Kellye is passionate about inspiring the next generation of young musicians. Kellye has extensive experience teaching music in both primary and secondary schools, directing concert band programs, teaching piano and woodwind instruments in both group and private lessons.

We are ready and waiting to link your young musicians up with a Tutor.
